Wine cellar, one of the largest in the world, with a total of 100 references, half of which can be enjoyed by the glass. Some of these nectars are rarities, sourced from private collections, enhancing the prestige of a cellar curated by the sommelier. These 100 wines are ‘perfect shots’ aimed at elevating this product to a global stage, helping to promote the identity and viticultural heritage of the archipelago. The 100 Medos (Fearless) wine cellar is a tribute to Madeira’s wine tradition, where unique geographical features enhance the perfect ageing of its world-famous wine, making every sip an unforgettable journey. The cellar, which includes some of the finest national wines, also features labels from the Octávio Freitas Winery: Galatrixa, Cagarra, and Massaroco (Rosé and Palhete), crafted from Madeiran grape varieties such as Malvasia Fina, Terrantez, Verdelho, Sercial, and Tinta Negra.
Each menu can be paired with the Sommelier’s perfect selection of
high-quality wines from various Portuguese regions. However, this is not mandatory; guests may also choose from the wine list or opt for wine by the glass.
